J. BRUCE MacNAUGHTON

Bruce
is a native Kingstonian. He attended High School at K.C.V.I.and Queen's University where he secured an
undergraduate degree in 1978 (Honours -
Philosophy). He graduated from the University of Windsor Law
School in 1981 (L.L.B.). He received his call to the Ontario Bar from the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1983.
He
then commenced his practice as an associate lawyer in the firm Bruce
& Johnston (Counsel Richard C. Oaks) conducting a general practice.
From 1986 to 1993 Bruce was a partner in the firm Johnston &
MacNaughton focussing mainly in family law. Thereafter he
has been a sole-practitioner providing legal
services and advice to a wide variety of clients in corporate and
commercial, administrative, real property and litigation matters. A
considerable portion of his work is in the area of Crown Prosecutions.
Bruce has been involved in the Kingston academic community having
lectured in business law at St. Lawrence College
throughout the 1980's and as a moot court judge at Queen's University
Law School. As well, he has been active in several community volunteer
boards
and was President of The St. Lawrence Youth Association for 3 years. |
