This form is a simple new way for Ontario residents to create a Power of Attorney for Property using the Internet. Two copies, of a document ready for signature in front of two witnesses, will be delivered by ordinary post or courier..

Internet Confidentiality Caution:
We will keep all of the information you provide to us (including your Email address) confidential. However, keep in mind communications by Internet Email are not 'secure'. If you communicate with me by E-mail you will take the risk that our correspondence may be intercepted. The risk of this happening is however, remote. There is also a small possibility that the electronic signals will not be received with the same accuracy as sent by you. Payment instructions:

As noted above, payment by VISA, AMERICAN EXPRESS, and personal cheque.

You may choose to provide your card number and expiry date as part of this Online Form. We will begin to work on your documents as soon as we have received authorization from your credit card issuer.

Some people prefer not to provide credit card data via the Internet because there is the possibility that the electronic signals traveling over the Internet may be intercepted. If you provide it through the Online Form, please recognize that your credit card data is not encrypted during transmission and we cannot guarantee that it will not be intercepted. If you are concerned about this, do not choose option 1.

We would be pleased to telephone you and obtain your credit card information. If you wish us to do this, please choose option 2.

If you would rather pay by cheque please make it out to J. Bruce MacNaughton, In Trust. Please forward it by mail or courier to 45 Johnson Street, P.O. Box 1621, Kingston, Ontario, Canada  K7L 5C8. We will deposit this cheque in our trust account and will begin to work on your power of attorney as soon as your cheque is received. Documents will be mailed to you as soon as your cheque has cleared our trust account (approximately one week). Funds will be transferred out of our trust account when we have completed your power of attorney. If you wish to make payment in this manner, choose option 3 and forward your cheque by mail or courier at your earliest convienience.
